The Addams Family: Quarantined Concert Version

Based on the characters created by Charles Addams, The Addams Family was adapted for the Broadway stage in 2009. The Addams Family Quarantined: Dramatic Concert Version musical, with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, was licensed through Theatrical Rights World to perform live on April 10, 11, and 12 with virtual livestreams on April 23 and 24, 2021.

The Addams Family Quarantined: Dramatic Concert Version musical tells the story of Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, who has fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family. Wednesday’s parents have not met him or his parents, and she plans a dinner party to make sure that both families get along before breaking the news of their engagement. Wednesday tells her father about their plans but begs him not to tell her mother until after dinner. Morticia senses that her husband is keeping something from her and plans a game that changes everything for each member of the families.
