Made in the USA: A Celebration of American Popular Music, another original musical written by Celeste Lauer Yanke and Ellen Factor, was the Starliters 5th annual production.
Three experts — a videographer, a music historian and a travel expert — crossed the USA to make a documentary of the musical styles, dances and favorite music of each region they visited. The live “studio” audience was invited to join them in experiencing the Country, Jazz, Rock, Broadway and Latin hits they documented.
The beauty of the USA came alive in the projections. The humor of the three experts kept the audience in stitches, and the music was a great mix of music from across our nation.
